The mission of Palmer Home for Children is to reflect the hope and love of Christ by providing a stable, long-term Christ-centered home for children who lack an adequate family structure. They welcome you volunteering your time to support their mission. One way that you can contribute is to work alongside their Physical Education Specialist to set up a fun environment for the kids to exercise. The Arc of Northwest Mississippi promotes and protects rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes. They have a wish for your help with an upcoming event. On March 31st the ARC is bringing to the first responders in the area a program to teach them how to more effectively work with autistic individuals in various situations. Their wish is for sponsorship of a continental breakfast,ratio snaks and water for breaks, plus lunch for the attendees. The mission of Through the Roof Pediatric Therapy is to provide help and hope to special needs children and their families in the form of free therapy services (physical, occupational, speech, and special instruction), parent support groups, parent/caregiver workshops, and group therapy sessions. To support their mission they have an upcoming Fashion Show and Aucton on May 30th. They would love your support as volunteers, sponsoring models who are special needs children, and donating silent auction items.
